The Notorious BIG, also known as Biggie Smalls or by his birth name Christopher George Latore Wallace was a giant figure, both physically and musically, in the development of east coast hip hop. Only 25 years old at the time of his murder, the Notorious BIG came out of the crack-infested decade to chart success and leadership of the entire New York hip hop scene.
